Hello!  I’m Scott Wolber Jr.

For the past 20+ years, I have been involved in the quick-service restaurant industry.  I began with maintenance, then food prep, warehouse-work, office-work, general management, tech support, purchasing and eventually vice president.  As VP, I oversaw the entire company which included 5 restaurants, a warehouse and an office.   In that time, I learned the extreme importance of leadership, staff communication, quality control, marketing, and setting the example for others to follow.

Early in life, I found myself intrigued by design, detail, and the arts.  As technology became more prominent, I began to develop a deep fascination with that as well.  Hence, my inherent intrigue for UX/UI.  The reason for my career change is passion.  I realized I MUST do what I love to reach my true potential and life purpose.

In a year, I see myself as a very promising, inquisitive, and self-motivated UX designer.  I wish to work for a design-mature company that fosters positivity, acceptance, and tech innovation.   I want to work with others that share my passion for clean and quirky design, integrity and inviting spirit.

Cheers!

My Story

In that time, I learned the extreme importance of leadership, staff communication, quality control, marketing, and setting a consistent example for others to follow.

I recently contemplated why design matters so much to me and the world. I determined that it's because I and many others understand how powerful good design is. It is very often the make or break factor in someone downloading an app, trying a new snack, deciding on a home, purchasing a laptop, and on and on. The appearance, functionality, and problem solving ability of design is maybe the most critical factor in how a person feels about something.

In a year, I see myself as a very promising, inquisitive, and self-motivated UX designer.  I wish to work for a design-mature company that fosters positivity, acceptance, and tech innovation.   I want to work with others that share my passion for clean and quirky design, integrity and inviting spirit.

Cheers!
